G3 Blues
I'm being asked from time to time, if it makes sense to use a booster in front of a G3 Blues - the answer is YES! My favourite is the EP booster (see left on photo) with some colouring of the sound, another one is the (less expensive) neutral sounding TC Spark Mini (see right on picture), you can also use the TC as a pure buffer (with Volume = 0). Impressive, how fat a strat can sound with the G3!

In the schematic C2 is correctly placed after R2 and connected directly to the grid of V1a (pin 7), in the layout it's shown until now to be placed before R2. In most situations this makes no difference, but with heavy HF crossfeed from outside of the amp it's better to place C2 as set out in the schematic. So we recommend to solder C2 generally between pin7 of V1a and ground (pin 9 of V1a).
M15Mk1
Add a send/return loop (unbuffered), you only need two 1/4" TS jack plugs with switches and some wire.
M15Mk1 Mods
A15Mk1
These three modifications need to be done to upgrade an A15Mk1 to an A15Mk2:
1) Change heater ground reference to enhance tube V3 lifetime
2) Change channel 1 tonestack to be more effective
3) Change layout to eliminate crosstalk between the channels
